ATROTECH ELEKTROTECHNIK GMBH CELEBRATES 100 EMPLOYEES

The company is very pleased to welcome its 100th employee

ATROTECH – The name stands for automation and robotics, success and quality and a 20-year success story from Bamberg.

Markus Teufel is the name of the 100th employee of ATROTECH. The medium-sized company was founded in 1997 in the Bamberg interim start-up center and has since been offering tailor-made solutions across the entire range of modern automation technology. In addition to around 1,000 m² of office space, the company at Kronacherstrasse 37+39 in Bamberg has access to an assembly hall and a production hall totaling 1,300 m², which make it possible to plan and build larger systems.
Yesterday the time had come when managing director Andreas Schreiber was able to honor the 100th employee and took a short look back at the company’s history.
After being founded in 1997, the first employees were hired in 1998. “We are proud to have 4 companions who were there from the beginning still in the company!” says Andreas Schreiber, founder and managing director.
In 2010, after restructuring within the management, the company had 19 employees. In 2012, large investments were made in buildings, land and machines. In 2016, another building was added and the number of employees rose to 66.
As of August 2018, the company now employs over 100 people.
The company will continue to grow in the coming years, says Andreas Schreiber: “We invest an average of over €500,000 every year in our company and thus also in Bamberg as a business location.”
The company operates worldwide and numerous international companies have already discovered ATROTECH as a competent partner, including BOSCH, Continental, Siemens and many more. The company is currently still looking for good and qualified employees from a wide range of areas who would like to continue the success story of ATROTECH in the future.
The company ATROTECH wishes Mr. Teufel a good and, above all, long cooperation and is already welcoming more employees in the next few weeks.
