the year 2016

Another year comes to an end. In these short and cold final days of 2016, we tend to reflect on the past. We like to remember the successes, carefully evaluate what may have fallen short of expectations and find ways in which we can do even better in the coming year.

2016 was an eventful and fruitful year for Atrotech. We have been able to convince new customers of our capabilities and confirm the trust of old partners. We carefully and efficiently supported many highly complex projects in 2016. We found solutions in the areas of surface processing, handling processes, residual dirt analysis, laser barcoding, vision systems, test and endurance test stands, compact measuring stations, feeding systems as well as in test equipment construction and the retrofitting of existing systems. More than 70 highly motivated employees provided our customers with advice and support.

But not only did our number of employees increase, our company itself also experienced healthy growth: a new building for our software department was purchased on a neighboring property and transformed into a modern office that meets all the demands of today’s working world. The new premises serve as a signpost for the future of the company, which also wants to give many new employees a home in 2017. Overall, Atrotech, under the leadership of our CEO Andreas Schreiber and CTO Frank Minnigerode, was able to successfully use 2016 to further consolidate its position as a global automation expert.
